Oasis - Talk Tonight
In 1994 a band named Oasis had hit the big time selling arenas across the UK and producing some of the great songs we all know and love today. The next mission for the Gallagher brothers and the rest of the band was to hop over the pond and conquer the US. However, the first trip to America did not go well. In Los Angeles on September 29th 1994, Oasis came on stage so high on drugs (later found out to be meth) that they could barely play. After the gig the band hit breaking point with many altercations. Noel and Liam's on-going feud had blown out of proportion and both began talking of an end to the band. Liam has always been a feisty character and despite his passivity Noel had now had enough of his crazy brothers antics. Noel flew to San Francisco alone, met a girl and wrote 'Talk Tonight'. The Legacy of Scott Hutchinson
Growing up is never easy. The difficulties for everyone differs, but everyone will have their own battles to face. Scott Hutchinson (lead singer and songwriter for the Indie Band Frightened Rabbit ) helped me to overcome certain difficulties, and even now having survived my teenage years I enjoy listening to Frightened Rabbit . I came across this band whilst listening to a podcast by fellow Scotsman Simon Neil (lead singer of Biffy Clyro) who claimed that Scott Hutchinson and his band were "ones to watch" and that the 'Modern Leper' (link below) was a "beautiful creation". Since his death (9th May 2018), artists around the world have worked on a re-make of Scott's greatest record ' The Midnight Organ Fight ', named ' Tiny Changes: A Celebration of Frightened Rabbit's 'T.M.O.F '.
